We offer a selection of food from simple fresh sandwiches and hot soup to full meals. Our ingredients are sourced as locally as possible. Seasonal produce is put to full use allowing us to create great tasting food whilst maintaining variety.
Sit back and relax
Within the hotel you can choose from the cosy front room with luxurious leather chairs and sofas together with a single large table for six, the light and airy Cherub room with views over St Mary’s church, or the mirror room.
All rooms have open fires in the colder months. Food and drink is also available in the ancient lower bar, again with a wood burner glowing away in the winter.
Outside Seating
When the Great British weather allows, we have three separate outside spaces for eating and drinking.
You can sit at the front of the hotel and watch the world go by, entertain the children in our walled garden with their special children’s play area and gazebo, or sit on the quiet terrace overlooking St Marys church and the ancient Yew trees and contemplate life over a glass of wine or two.
Function Room Available
We can also cater for buffets, parties, weddings etc in our recently refurbished function room which accommodates up to 40 people.
